I came across scary rumors online: people write that $USDT will soon "burn" and that you need to urgently transfer everything to $USDC ! 😱
As a beginner, I first got worried, but then decided to check the charts myself on Binance. And I noticed something interesting! Turns out the USDC price is still pegged to the USDT exchange rate — it fluctuates a bit, going up and down relative to it. In other words, USDT on the exchange is the main foundation!
My conclusion: there’s no need to panic ahead of time. Tether is a huge giant, and over time they’ll surely get all the licenses. Personally, I’m still keeping my coins from Red Packets 🧧 in USDT for now.
