VGod is at it again with his 'saving the world' narrative, just added 64 ETH to the animal welfare fund. He believes that with today's tech level, we can totally reduce animal suffering through synthetic alternatives and improved farming practices.
This move is legit, seasoned traders are used to it; VGod's narrative focus has always been on 'social improvement' and 'effective altruism.' Although these dozens of ETH don't really shake up the market chips, the concepts of 'synthetic biology' and 'moral narratives' will probably be picked up by some meme projects trying to cash in. This is a classic case of 'big shot personal aesthetics'; just take a look, don't rush to the blockchain for the same-name meme at the first whiff. Tech changing lives is real, but whether this donation can spark a new sector still depends on big money stepping in later.
