I’ve reached a point where I’m less interested in what a project claims to build and more interested in why it needs to exist in the first place.

That’s how I ended up looking at Newton Protocol.

The AI narrative is everywhere right now, but the part that stuck with me wasn’t "AI-powered trading." It was the trust problem behind it.

If AI agents are eventually making decisions with real money, someone has to answer a simple question: how do we know they’re acting the way they’re supposed to?

That feels like a much more interesting challenge than chasing the next trend.

I still have plenty of doubts.

Will people actually prefer this over centralized AI platforms? Can developers build something valuable here without relying on hype? And does this become infrastructure people quietly use, or something that only stays relevant when the market is excited?

I don't know yet.

But I've learned that the projects worth following usually leave me with more thoughtful questions than immediate conviction.

Newton Protocol hasn't convinced me yet—but it has convinced me it's worth paying attention to. In this market, that's already more than most projects manage.
