Honestly? I was suspicious.

I've been in crypto long enough to remember the last wave of "tokenized stocks" that turned out to be synthetic garbage with zero real backing.

So when Binance dropped bStocks, my first reaction was: here we go again.

But I checked. The underlying shares are actually held at a regulated custodian. Backed 1:1. FSRA-approved prospectus. That's not marketing language — that's a legal structure. Different animal.

So I converted some of my $NVDA position into bNVDA. No lock-up. No conversion fee. Took maybe 90 seconds.

Then midnight came. Markets closed. And I watched bNVDA move on Binance spot like any other token.

That's when it actually hit me — this isn't a synthetic. This is the same equity, just now living on-chain, trading 24/7. I could pull it to Trust Wallet if I wanted. Use it in DeFi.

Or just flip it back to a direct stock position before market open without touching a broker app.

My pick right now is holding bNVDA through earnings season. The AI infrastructure thesis hasn't changed.

But now I'm not forced to wait for NYSE hours to react. That edge alone is worth experimenting with.

Still early. Still watching. But my suspicion is mostly gone.
