Meanwhile, the signatories expressed their "gratitude to the Senate Banking Committee" for advancing "critical clarifications for software developers." Therefore, they urged the Senate to "pass the CLARITY Act with the bipartisan BRCA as it was advanced by the Committee."
The letter arrives at a tough time for the regulatory initiative in the crypto space. According to Polymarket, the odds of the CLARITY Act's approval dropped to 48% on Wednesday, down from 55% recorded days earlier. The decline is driven by increasing conflicts among lawmakers, fueled by executives from the traditional banking sector.
