MoonPay Acquires AI Accounting Firm Entendre, Automating the Crypto Back-End

MoonPay's at it again—this time, they've scooped up the AI accounting platform Entendre. In simple terms, they’re looking to hand off the tedious tasks of financial reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close for stablecoin companies to AI agents. Reportedly, Entendre’s clients can automate 93% of their journal entries and handle 25,000 transactions a month with ease. This year alone, MoonPay has already acquired four companies: Sodot (wallet security), Decent, and DFlow (trade execution), and with Entendre on board, they’re now covering the entire payment-to-trading-to-back-end finance spectrum. The CEO put it bluntly: if stablecoins are going to see widespread enterprise adoption, the financial systems can't be slower than payments.
