EARTHQUAKES IN VENEZUELA

The most recent official report on the double earthquake in Venezuela states that there were 2,595 people killed and 12,400 injured, as reported by the National Government.
The disaster occurred on June 24, 2026, due to an unusual geological phenomenon known as a "seismic doublet," in which two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck the north of the country with only 39 seconds between them.
