#korut #Russian $BTC $TRX $SHIB After years in the bear market, the US opens the gates for humanitarian aid sanctions relief to North Korea.
Russia welcomes the change in stance from the United States, which is no longer blocking the review of sanctions relief for humanitarian aid projects in North Korea at the United Nations forum. This move is seen by Moscow as a significant signal that humanitarian considerations are being prioritized over geopolitical interests.
This assessment was shared by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov with RIA Novosti on Tuesday (June 16, 2026). Alimov revealed that in February, the US lifted the suspension on reviewing 17 requests for humanitarian aid shipments to North Korea that had been stalled at the UN Sanctions Committee for North Korea.
"It's truly uplifting that a wise assessment has been reached in Washington. This allows for the relief to be approved — it can be seen as a genuinely positive move," said Alimov.
