OpenGradient caught my attention not because it's another Layer 1, but because it seems to ask a different question. Instead of chasing bigger numbers or faster benchmarks, it's focused on hosting, running, and verifying AI models in a decentralized way. That's a more practical problem than most AI narratives in crypto.

The real test, though, isn't architecture. It's adoption. Every new chain looks promising until real users, developers, and liquidity have a reason to move. If OpenGradient can solve a problem people actually feel, it has a chance. If not, it'll join a long list of technically solid projects that never found enough momentum.
