The TGE crypto 2025 picture. Nearly 85% of tokens have significantly lost value after TGE
According to the latest analysis by Ash from Memento Research, the wave of new token issuance (Token Generation Event – TGE) in 2025 is becoming a true "bloodbath" for cryptocurrency investors. Data tracking 118 TGE events that have occurred since the beginning of the year shows that most tokens have extremely negative price movements after listing, clearly reflecting the weakening of market sentiment as well as structural issues in the fundraising model of many current blockchain projects.

Specifically, up to 84.7% of the tokens surveyed, equivalent to 100 out of 118 projects, currently have a fully diluted valuation (FDV) lower than at the time of TGE. This means that nearly 4/5 of tokens have failed to maintain or expand their value after hitting the market. This figure is particularly noteworthy considering that FDV is often pushed very high right from the initial issuance round, reflecting significant expectations from both the project team and early-stage investment funds.

Not only that, the median decline of FDV since the time of TGE reaches 71%, while the median market capitalization has decreased by about 67%. This indicates that not only small projects, but even tokens that were strongly promoted, backed by large funds or famous ecosystems, cannot escape the overall downward trend. Conversely, only about 15% of tokens have FDV higher than the valuation at the time of TGE, a ratio too small to create a positive effect for the entire market.$BTC $ETH

Binance supports 200,000 USD for flood-affected people in Vietnam

On November 21, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received a support amount of 200,000 USD (~5.2 billion VND) from the Binance Charity fund to help residents recover from the aftermath of the flood.

The Cardano community votes for the first time onchain to fund a major upgrade

Previously, the Cardano development team - InputOutput (IOG) self-funded and carried out most development activities. This is the first time the community directly approves the budget from the treasury for IOG with a 74% approval rate, marking the beginning of decentralized governance.

According to the proposal, IOG will withdraw 96M $ADA (~$71M) from the treasury to upgrade the network over 12 months. The funding will be managed independently by Intersect, disbursed upon reaching specific development milestones, through smart contracts and a separate oversight council.

Some key projects:
- Hydra: a fast, low-cost transaction processing protocol.
- Project Acropolis: restructuring Cardano nodes into flexible blocks, attracting new developers to participate and build.

Additionally, IOG also plans to optimize performance to reduce operational costs for stake pools, laying the groundwork for advanced smart contracts and better interoperability with other blockchains.
