The first whale, linked to address 0x0890, deposited $2M USDC and entered a $BTC long with 40x leverage, now valued at $46.28M. Despite the aggressive sizing, the position is currently sitting at an unrealized loss of over $687K, with a liquidation price at $113,870 — just a few hundred dollars below current trading levels. In parallel, another whale boosted its exposure with a $4.12M USDC deposit to expand a $BTC long at 5x leverage, now worth $20.56M. Unlike the first, this whale is slightly in profit (+$37.7K), though funding costs are eating into gains. This stark contrast highlights two approaches to leverage: one hyper-aggressive, chasing outsized returns but risking liquidation on minor moves, and another more conservative, allowing greater breathing room.
