Bitlayer and Its Role in the Future of Bitcoin Bitlayer is a new project in the Bitcoin space that could play a big role in how Bitcoin evolves. It stands out because it combines smart technology with a strong strategy, potentially reshaping how Bitcoin is used and valued. 1. Solving Bitcoin’s Problems Bitcoin has long struggled with slow transactions and limited capacity. Bitlayer helps fix this using two technologies: Sidechains: Separate chains connected to Bitcoin to handle more activity. ZK (Zero-Knowledge Proofs): A way to speed up transactions while keeping them secure. Together, these help Bitlayer process over 10,000 transactions per second, much faster than Bitcoin or Ethereum, and for a much lower fee (about 1% of Ethereum’s fees).
