MoneyGram now accepts stablecoins on MoneyTransfer, following its partnership with Fireblocks. The integration allows real‑time transactions across multiple blockchains, positioning stablecoins as a new settlement option in MoneyGram’s global network. Customers and Institutions are now able to use stablecoins such as $USDC & $USDT on cross‑border transfers and settlements. MoneyGram stated that the adoption will streamline operations, reduce reliance on pre‑funding, and modernize remittance infrastructure across more than 200 countries and territories. By embedding Fireblocks’ infrastructure, MoneyGram has moved stablecoins from pilot programs into full commercial use, expanding digital payment choices for its global customer base.

Netflix has confirmed a landmark deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery in a transaction valued at about $82.7 billion, including Warner Bros.’ film and TV studios, HBO, and HBO Max. The agreement comes after a competitive bidding process involving Netflix, Paramount’s Skydance, and Comcast. Under the deal, WBD shareholders will receive $23.25 in cash and $4.50 in Netflix stock per share.
