Everything should be predictable with better models of data and quicker updates. That belief disintegrates with time. You see that the uncertainty is not a vice in the system. It is a condition of reality. Removing it is not the challenge but how to coexist with it without letting it destroy you.
That attitude was already shaping as I began to take a closer look at APRO. I did not anticipate being impressed. I thought it was going to be yet another oracle initiative that would deliver cleaner data and more accuracy without exploring the assumptions that will crumble under pressure.
