We have recently received reports of users being targeted by scammers through fake SMS messages, with users in Bahrain being particularly affected.
Please remember: Binance will never contact users via phone calls or operate call centers. Our SMS communications are strictly limited to sending OTP codes and will never include a call center number. The only reliable sources of information are the official Binance.com website and app.
Examples of Scam SMS Messages:
A message claims a withdrawal has been "whitelisted" and asks you to call an unknown number.
Messages appearing in the same thread as official Binance 2FA messages urge you to click a link to upgrade or verify your account.
Protecting Your Binance Account:
Ignore and delete any suspicious SMS messages immediately.
Do not call any numbers listed in these messages.
Stay vigilant and ensure your account's security by only trusting official Binance channels.
