$XRP Bitcoin price today: rising closer to 119 thousand dollars amid legislatively supported 🚀🚀; alternative currencies continue to rise

Bitcoin slightly increased to 119,000 dollars in Asian trading on Monday, but investor sentiment remained cautious despite optimism following a series of legislative measures in the U.S. aimed at regulating the cryptocurrency sector.

The world's largest cryptocurrency rose by 0.6% to 119,001.6 dollars at 09:25 Saudi time.

Last month, the currency reached record levels above 123,000 dollars but has since fallen below 120,000 dollars and is now trading at a consolidation level near this mark.

The development of cryptocurrency bills in the U.S. is progressing, but investors are still cautious.

Last week, President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS Act, which establishes a federal legislative framework for stable cryptocurrencies.

The law requires stablecoin issuers to maintain reserves in liquid assets, including dollars or treasury bonds, and to provide monthly reports.
