In the past year, the narrative of RWA has continued to heat up, but many projects have only remained at the level of 'mapping' and 'packaging', lacking an overall design for compliance, on-chain composability, and capital efficiency. Plume attempts to make efforts on three levels of 'compliance access + native issuance + cross-domain combination': 1) providing standardized on-chain paths for real-world assets, enhancing the transparency of data and assets; 2) lowering the threshold for introducing incremental asset types through a modular architecture; 3) allowing DeFi primitives (collateral, yield aggregation, splitting/repackaging) to connect with RWA natively, forming new interest rate curves and risk layering tools. For developers, this means they can quickly experiment with new financial Legos within clearer compliance boundaries; for users, it provides an opportunity to manage multi-dimensional sources of yield from on-chain and real-world mapped assets in the same environment. If future iterations can maintain audit verifiability, clearing transparency, and governance of off-chain event oracles, Plume is expected to become an important infrastructure for the 'RWA combination layer'. Looking forward to more progress and welcome discussions on potential use cases and risk trade-offs.
