S. Bessent (U.S. Secretary of the Treasury) made the following statement:

- China plans to introduce new trade barriers, including restrictions on the export of rare metals and restrictions contrary to free trade principles.

- The United States will not allow escalation but will provide collective evidence with its allies for the destruction on the Chinese side.

- Work is underway to organize the meeting between Donald Trump and before Bessent allies with the Chinese delegates.

- Policy will not change due to short-term calls. The Secretary added: “We will not negotiate as long as the stock market is down.”

- The reduction of the U.S. government's work results in a savings of $15 billion per day.
