After a wave of decline, has the market bottomed out? Is it really time to go bearish?
Bitcoin has not only dropped below MA120, but it has also fallen below MA200, which is approximately around 10.7-10.8. After today's rebound, it has not directly risen above it, just hitting the pressure level near MA200.
Many people say that many big influencers have cleared their positions, and their basis is using the long-term moving average indicators MA120 and MA200 as the dividing line between bull and bear markets.
A bear market does not drop to the bottom all at once; it will repeatedly decline and rebound without making new highs or breaking through resistance levels, and then slowly drop to the bottom.
So even in a bear market, there are actually opportunities; where there is volatility, there will be opportunities.
If one can reduce positions in the ranges of Bitcoin at around 12.4w-12.6w and 11.4-11.6w, as well as Ethereum at 4500-4700 and around 4242, the overall mindset would be very good right now.
Personally, I feel that we have not completely hit the bottom yet; the rebound is still too weak. With the interest rate cuts at the end of the month being so clear, the market hasn't seen much of an increase, so it will take some time to reach the bottom.
After reducing positions, be patient and don’t rush to buy back during the rebound, as you might end up in a precarious position.
This is a pit I have previously fallen into, so I usually either quickly take profits after a spike or wait until the third bottoming occurs before gradually building my position.
