I see Aster as one of the standout Perp DEX projects on BNB Chain at the moment. Being incubated by YZi Labs and having close ties with the Binance ecosystem has helped Aster gain significant attention right from its official launch at the end of March 2025.
From my perspective, the most notable point is that Aster does not launch just for the sake of it, but positions itself clearly in the decentralized derivatives trading space.
What I appreciate about Aster is its strong liquidity and product design across different modes. This platform offers Perpetual Pro, 1001x, and Spot, meaning users can flexibly choose a trading method that fits their risk tolerance.
For me, this is a significant advantage as not every project builds products with multiple options from the start.
In addition to trading, @Aster DEX also integrates yield-generating products through vaults based on tokens like asBNB and asUSDF, thereby providing users additional ways to optimize capital flow instead of just letting assets sit idle.
Another point that caught my attention is Aster's clear decentralization direction, accompanied by an MEV resistance mechanism to limit the exploitation of value during order matching.
In my opinion, this is important because the fair trading experience is increasingly becoming a core competitive factor for Perp DEXs.
In the long run, Aster does not hide its ambition to expand towards a modular ecosystem with components such as zk-proofs, customizable Layer 1, and intent-based routing mechanisms. Viewed this way, Aster not only wants to be an exchange but also aims to build deeper DeFi infrastructure.
Aster's main products include Aster Pro, 1001x, Aster Spot, and Aster Earn. Among them, Aster Pro is the core product, allowing decentralized futures trading across multiple chains like BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum, with a multi-asset margin mechanism and much more competitive fees than many CEXs.
1001x, or Aster Simple, is a simpler version of Aster Pro, supporting very high leverage of up to 1001x without requiring direct deposits like the full version.
This product operates entirely on-chain, integrating multiple price oracles like Pyth, Chainlink, and Binance Oracle to enhance transparency and accuracy.

In addition, Aster Spot allows users to purchase tokens directly with USDT in a manner quite similar to centralized exchanges, although currently the number of supported assets is still limited.
Finally, Aster Earn is the piece that optimizes profits, supporting many assets in the BNB Chain ecosystem like BNB, CAKE, and USDF with a simple, user-friendly interface.
What makes me see the market react very strongly to Aster is the incredibly rapid growth rate of TVL. From around 370 million USD before CZ's announcement, TVL surged to 1.86 billion USD in just 24 hours, nearly six times.
For me, this number reflects a huge level of FOMO from the community. Not only that, but the trading volume of derivatives on the platform has also maintained over 700 million USD daily for a week, indicating that Aster's appeal comes not only from short-term media effects but also is being closely monitored by the market.
