Hello community, I am a real user — and I want to speak frankly: airdrops must return to real users, not to thousands of bots and fake accounts.
Below is the voice of disadvantaged users, along with suggestions for the platform to operate more fairly.
Current issues (summary)
1. Bots + farming accounts take rewards, causing real users to lose opportunities.
2. The “small threshold” scanning system is not tight enough but penalizes users holding small amounts of money or accounts with simple transaction histories indiscriminately.
3. Fraudsters can rotate money through multiple devices/accounts to stabilize data (swap, farm), while real users holding assets for a long time get excluded.
4. The exchange's processes and criteria lack transparency — users do not know exactly the conditions, complaints are processed slowly and ineffectively.
Fairness request — proposed criteria (clear, verifiable)
• Minimum hold threshold to participate in airdrop: at least $300 in the last 6 months (or an alternative level of $600 to increase reliability) — specify the average balance, not counting temporary balances due to fast turnover.
• BNB hold requirement: programs related to BNB should have equivalent thresholds (e.g., ≥ 0.5 BNB in 6 months).
• Prioritize KYC users and natural transaction history: verified accounts with a long-term asset holding history will be ranked higher.
• Penalties for fraud: detect farming/bots => confiscate rewards, freeze equivalent rewards, and clearly state the reasons.
• Transparency of the algorithm: the exchange needs to disclose (at least the principles part) how to calculate eligibility so users can understand and prepare.
Technical & operational solutions
• Apply behavioral analysis to detect unusual turnover (pattern swapping multiple times between new accounts).
• Compare IP address/device history to separate farming bots from real users.
• Implement independent quarterly audits for airdrop programs — publicly disclose audit results.
• Create a quick complaint channel for users deemed to be violating; announce processing deadlines and reasons for conclusions.
Message to the exchange (especially top 1 exchange)
Large exchanges must operate professionally and have a responsibility to protect real users. If the system favors or is helpless against farming, the reputation and community value will be harmed. Prioritize the real user experience over the temporary benefits of bot farmers.
Call to action
If you agree:
• Tag the exchange + tag support so they can see the voice of users.
• Publicly require eligibility criteria for all future airdrops.
