Coinbase added Toncoin (TON) to its listing roadmap, according to an update published on Wednesday. The roadmap outlines assets the exchange is evaluating for potential listing. A listing date for TON has not been disclosed yet.

If approved, Toncoin would become available to broader audience of U.S. retail users, giving them access to the blockchain that supports Telegram’s expanding Web 3 ecosystem.

Tokens added to the Coinbase roadmap often receive increased visibility and may see higher liquidity once fully listed. Following the announcement, TON showed no notable price reaction.

Coinbase also added the Plazma (XPL) token to the roadmap. Earlier this year, Robinhood listed TON, becoming the first major U.S. platform to offer exposure to the asset.

Users commonly monitor Coinbase’s roadmap as an indicator of which assets may gain future market traction.
