Eric Trump stated that funds will move from gold to Bitcoin
Eric Trump, co-founder and strategic director of American Bitcoin, confirmed that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have become the future of money and investment globally.
Trump said during his participation in the Yahoo Finance investment event: "Bitcoin is the greatest means to protect wealth from inflation, corruption, and bad monetary systems around the world, which is why we are witnessing this massive global flow towards it.. perhaps it has become the greatest asset of our era."
He added that the upcoming shift will be at the expense of gold, noting that investors will redirect their capital towards Bitcoin as the true digital gold.
And he continued: "We will witness a significant shift towards Bitcoin, and more funds will flow out of gold; this ratio will change disproportionately in favor of Bitcoin, as it outperforms gold in many aspects, the most important being weight, ease of transport, and other drawbacks associated with the physical metal."
Eric Trump concluded his remarks by saying: "Cryptocurrencies will reshape every aspect of our financial system, and this change is not happening quickly enough.. We are truly behind."
