Let me say something that might not align with the current market sentiment:

Most of the cryptocurrency projects we see now are revolving around 'performance', 'TPS', and 'scalability', but this is a short-term narrative.

What can truly transcend cycles are often those foundational layers that make the entire ecosystem smoother, safer, and more usable.

Plasma is a project that is quite 'against the market sentiment'.

It does not rely on exaggerated technical indicators to attract a bunch of high-risk capital, nor does it depend on meme packaging to attract short-term speculators. What it does is very simple – even simple to the point of being a bit boring:

Improve inter-chain interaction efficiency.

In a single-chain world, this proposition is meaningless.

But what about now?

Just a few examples:

  • You are trading on L2, even if Gas is cheaper, it is impossible to always stay on the same chain;

  • You are mining on another chain, and you want to return to the main chain to invest;

  • You are arbitraging in DeFi, and you must flow between multiple chains;

  • Lending, LP, NFT, chain games, Rollup... all operate in different environments.

The common point of these scenarios is:

You cannot avoid cross-chain.

But what is cross-chain?

Right now, cross-chain is a bottleneck, a risk, a trouble.

What should cross-chain be in the future?

It should be as smooth as "same-chain operations".

What Plasma wants to do is to realize this "inevitable future" ahead of time.

I particularly like one thing about it:

It’s not about disrupting any chain, but about connecting every chain;

It’s not about competing for traffic, but about aggregating traffic.

If you understand this, you will realize:

The value of Plasma is not linear, but grows "exponentially" with the expansion of the multi-chain ecosystem.

Right now, all chains are expanding, erupting, incubating, innovating; it sounds too lively, but beneath the liveliness is chaos.

And Plasma tries to establish order in the chaos.

This mission is usually not favored by short-term funds, but long-term funds will definitely understand.

I have a viewpoint that most people may realize a few years later:

Interoperability is the ultimate value of Web3.

Without interoperability, even the highest performance chain is an island.

And Plasma is building "bridges between islands".

Bridges are not flashy, do not attract attention, and will not become a hot narrative in the short term, but they are the infrastructure that the entire ecosystem must ultimately rely on.

My attitude towards XPL remains:

Not because of the price, but because of its position in the future multi-chain economic structure.

But what about now?

You cannot ignore Plasma.

Its value will passively manifest after the ecological scale increases.

And this value is often suddenly repriced by the market at a certain moment.

This is not FOMO, nor is it a shout-out.

Just a judgment based on industry logic:

The true narrative of Plasma has not yet begun.
