Are China and Russia negotiating to end the Ukraine crisis?

A reporter from the Uta News Agency asked whether Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated in an interview with Sky News this week that Russia is negotiating with China to end the Ukraine crisis. Can the Foreign Ministry confirm this? If so, can the Chinese side provide relevant information? Is the Chinese side discussing or planning to discuss Ukraine's peace issues with Ukraine?
Mao Ning stated that China has always believed that dialogue and negotiation are the only feasible way to resolve the Ukraine crisis, and we support all efforts conducive to peace. Since the outbreak of the crisis, as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a responsible major country, China has maintained communication with relevant parties, including Russia and Ukraine, to play a constructive role in promoting a political resolution to the crisis.
