zkEVM Technology (Zero-Knowledge EVM): Linea uses Zero-Knowledge Rollup (ZK-Rollup) technology. This means it groups thousands of transactions off the main Ethereum chain and then sends a single cryptographic proof (zero-knowledge proof) to Ethereum.

Benefit: Allows for much faster transactions and significantly lower fees than the main Ethereum network (Layer 1), while maintaining the security of Ethereum.
