Official statement from the moderators
It is time to put a definitive end to this situation: the "Global Consensus Value" (GCV) does not exist and no consensus has ever existed, especially not at $314,159. This figure is not recognized by any Pi Core team, has no connection to market transactions, and is completely disconnected from reality.
These GCV stories are very harmful. They mislead honest pioneers, drive away legitimate buyers and sellers during the current phase of the closed main network, and slow down the concrete progress we could achieve together. Every time someone puts forward an impossible GCV price, the trust and utility we are all trying to build erode.
Let’s be clear: the GCV is misinformation and acts like a scam. For the good of the community, moderators will continue to block accounts that spread it.
