Welcome to Week 2! I am @Web3Income. Yesterday we revealed the double yield strategy. Today, I will teach you the first step: Lending your capital to obtain receipt tokens (vUSDT, a $USDT ).

Disclaimer: This is a DeFi strategy. It requires monitoring and knowledge of your Web3 Wallet.

Step 1: Preparation (Web3 Wallet)

  1. Network: For this example, we will use Aave on Polygon (MATIC Network) or Venus on BSC. Both are safe and popular. Make sure you have $USDT and a small amount of $MATIC / $BNB .

    +0.22%

(for gas) on the chosen network within your Web3 Wallet.

  2. Connection: Open your Binance Web3 Wallet, go to the dApps section and search for Aave or Venus Protocol. Click on the platform.

Step 2: Lend your USDT (Supply)

  1. Select Supply: In the Aave/Venus interface, look for the "Supply" or "Deposit" section and select $USDT.

  2. Amount: Enter the amount of USDT you wish to lend.

  3. Confirmation: Accept the contract. Your Web3 Wallet will ask you to sign two transactions (an approval and the deposit). You will pay a minimum Gas Fee.

Step 3: Activate your Collateral and Receipt Token

  1. Receipt Token: Once deposited, your USDT appears in the "Supplied" section. In Aave, you automatically receive aUSDT; in Venus, vUSDT. This token is the key! Keep earning interest.

  2. Activate Collateral: In the protocol interface, click the button to activate your deposited USDT as collateral (often a toggle or switch). This allows you to borrow against it!

Step 4: Borrow $USDC (Borrow)

  1. Borrow: Go to the "Borrow" section and select $USDC.

  2. LTV (Loan-to-Value): The protocol will show you how much you can borrow. For SECURITY, NEVER borrow more than 50-60% of what you lent. If you lent $100 USD, only borrow $50-$60 USD.

  3. Confirm Loan: Confirm the transaction. Done! The borrowed $USDC is now in your Web3 Wallet.

🔥 What did you achieve? Your USDT earning interest AND you have $USDC extra to use in a Yield Farming pool (double yield!).
