As mentioned earlier, Giggle (Giggle Fund) is a memecoin based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), aimed at supporting the educational projects of Giggle Academy, led by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, allowing users to directly donate transaction fees to Giggle Academy. Giggle Academy provides free and engaging learning experiences for underprivileged children in developing countries through educational games, storybooks, and vocabulary content.
Giggle token is not the official token of Giggle Academy.
Donations currently come from two sources:
1. On-chain Giggle transactions incur a 5% transaction tax that is directly donated to Giggle Academy;
2. Specific trading fees on the Binance platform: Binance has clearly announced that starting from December 2025, 50% of the spot and leveraged trading fees for GIGGLE will be used for donations. These fees will be converted into GIGGLE tokens donated to Giggle.
Academy, which will destroy half of the tokens, and convert the other half into BNB for charitable operations and educational project advancement - this is also the origin of Giggle's deflationary mechanism.
For contract trading and other derivative trading fees, neither Giggle's project team mechanism description nor public announcements from exchanges like Binance mention including them in the donation scope; if included, Giggle might soar.
On December 1st, the first batch of Giggle spot and leveraged trading pairs fees (from November 1 to November 30) 6838 Giggle have been donated and destroyed respectively (Donation Transaction ID: 0x6e94a8fb672147d453436db4a792836ba2cd6cbb1f712d6dd5e59af7fc9d4dfa, Destruction Transaction ID: 0x3e1ed4f9269f36c1b748105d7e5abd23b129ed948e42bbd4f2c50995ee9dfe53), thereafter, donations and destructions of the previous month's will be done on the 1st of each month.
