$PIPPIN 🚨 This is NOT a normal situation, and many traders are being affected. Funding on PIPPIN stays at -0.40% to -0.60% per hour even when price is flat and open interest is dropping.
This behavior is extremely abnormal:
Price stays in a tight range
No real buying activity
Open interest decreasing
Yet funding keeps forcing shorts to pay aggressively
A lot of traders already reported this issue.
What is even more strange: Whenever the community starts talking about the abnormal funding, it suddenly “improves” in the next interval — without any market reason.
