🚨 Dollar index rises amid currency exchange rate fluctuations
According to ChainCatcher, the dollar index, which measures the US dollar against six major currencies, rose by 0.14% to close at 98.99. At the close of the foreign exchange market in New York, the exchange rate for the euro was $1.1652, down from $1.1672 the previous day. The British pound was traded at $1.3339, slightly lower than $1.335 the previous day. The dollar was exchanged for 155.03 Japanese yen, down from 155.15 yen the previous day. Meanwhile, the dollar rose against the Swiss franc, being exchanged at a rate of 0.8032, up from 0.7994 the previous day. The exchange rate for the Canadian dollar was 1.3953, slightly higher than 1.3948 the previous day. Finally, the dollar was exchanged for 9.4173 Swedish kronor, up from 9.3744 the previous day.
