⚡ Day 10 — How Crypto Transactions Work

Today you’ll learn what actually happens when you send crypto from one wallet to another.

💡 Step-by-Step (Simplified)

1️⃣ You create a transaction

Example: Send 0.05 $BTC to a friend

You sign it using your private key

2️⃣ Network broadcasts it

Your wallet sends the transaction to thousands of nodes.

3️⃣ Miners/validators verify it

They check:

✔ You have enough balance

✔ Your signature is valid

✔ No double spending

4️⃣ Transaction enters a block

Once verified, it’s grouped with others.

5️⃣ Block gets added to the blockchain

Now the transaction becomes permanent and unchangeable.

6️⃣ Confirmations start

More confirmations = more security.

(Ex: BTC often considered safe after 3–6 confirmations)

🟦 Why Fees (Gas) Exist

You pay a small fee so validators include your transaction in the next block.

Higher fee = faster confirmation.

❓ Your Turn:

Which network do you feel has fast & cheap transactions?
