Behind the battlefield dividends for Russia lies an overdrawn situation, but land and resources have provided it with a future.

The territory has been solidified, not only consolidating Crimea but also with four eastern regions being incorporated into Russia, effectively controlling 120,000 square kilometers of land and key resources.
