According to Foresight News, an official announcement from USPD revealed that USPD V1 experienced a CPIMP deployment attack on December 4, 2025. The incident was not due to a smart contract vulnerability. The team plans to distribute redeemable Claim Tokens to approximately 230 affected users at a 1:1 ratio in January 2026. Additionally, an independent protocol revenue compensation pool will be established. USPD V2 will feature a modular architecture, default integration of Railgun privacy features, and enhanced DeFi compatibility, with a launch expected in the second quarter of 2026.
