Institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals are taking advantage of the dips to accumulate solid DeFi tokens like Uniswap (UNI) and Aave (AAVE), focusing on fundamentals rather than short-term price.
In the last seven days, whales have added approximately 800,000 UNI – worth over 5 million dollars – bringing the top 100 addresses to hold 8.98 million UNI.
The movement coincides with the recent vote on the fee switch, a mechanism that will allow part of the fees to be redistributed to holders, strengthening the interest in sustainable passive income.
On Aave, the behavior is even more evident: in 30 days, the top addresses have increased their positions by over 50,000 tokens, reaching an all-time high of 3.98 million.
