The Robinhood platform, once considered a 'playground' for beginners, is rapidly transforming into a serious player among professionals. According to the Q3 2025 report, cryptocurrency trading on Robinhood has increased by 112% year-over-year, and the average size of crypto deposits from new users already exceeds $12,000 – which is 4 times more than in 2023.
The main magnet – the lowest fees in the US market: a spread of only 0.01–0.03% (compared to 0.2–0.6% at Coinbase and Kraken) and a complete absence of direct trading fees. Add to this margin trading in crypto (up to 2x for Gold subscribers), Ethereum staking with 4–6% APY, and the fastest withdrawal of USDC (instant to bank account).
Analysts at Kaiko report: Robinhood's share of the spot volume $BTC in the US increased from 3% in 2023 to 19% in December 2025. Traders are migrating from Binance.US and Coinbase Pro mainly due to savings: with a turnover of $1 million per month, the difference in fees reaches $5000–8000.
Robinhood is no longer a 'meme broker' – it is a real threat to traditional exchanges.
