Only in the YGG community do I dare to speak out my Web3 dreams
My name is Xingchen, and I have been struggling in Binance Square for several years, believing that I understand the rise and fall of Web3 better than anyone else. But to be honest, sometimes I only dare to share some seemingly fanciful Web3 dreams in the YGG community. In other places, saying it out loud might only get me labeled as an unrealistic dreamer or be met with 'don't think too much, just make money first' retorts.
This is not an exaggeration. I remember it was 2023 when the P2E craze gradually faded, yet I was still contemplating a grand Web3 gaming world, an ecosystem that goes beyond mere gold farming and truly allows players to own their gaming destinies. At that time, my dream of being a 'game entrepreneur' sounded like a joke to outsiders. I once tried to bring it up in an ordinary crypto community, but the result was either no one paid attention or I was advised to 'quickly find a popular dog project to make some money first.' That feeling of being doused with cold water made me doubt whether I was really heading in the wrong direction. However, when I cautiously brought up this idea during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session in the YGG community, what I received was not mockery but enthusiastic discussions and unexpected resonance. This is the core I want to discuss with everyone today: why the YGG community can truly become an incubator and safe harbor for Web3 dreams.
