Brothers and sisters, let's be clear, Fan Ge is not here to show off pictures or pull anyone in; he simply wants to chat about how to play contracts in the crypto world and still walk away with money.
Seven years ago, I entered the market with 3000U, and back then, I couldn't even understand K-lines. Now my account can stay stable, not because I'm exceptionally talented, but because I set a set of "life-saving rules" for myself.
Start with 1000U to test the waters, and only invest 100U each time to play with 100 times leverage. With this leverage, a 1% increase doubles your investment, while a 1% decrease wipes it out. These five rules are lessons I learned through liquidation, which I share with you who are still on the road:
Cut losses immediately when wrong, don’t hold on stubbornly.
I also experienced liquidation when I first entered the industry, always fantasizing that the market would turn around. Don’t be foolish; the market doesn’t wait for anyone. When it reaches the stop-loss point, no matter how reluctant you are, you have to leave. Surviving means you have a chance for the next round.
Stop after five consecutive losses.
Sometimes the market just moves erratically; stubbornly sticking to it will only break your mindset. After five consecutive losses, close the software and go to sleep. Often, you will find that when you wake up the next day, yesterday’s pit has already been filled.
Withdraw quickly after earning 500U.
No matter how good the numbers on the screen look, they are virtual. The market can turn against you faster than you can flip a page. Once you've made enough, at least withdraw half; securing profits is the real win.
Only take unilateral positions; take a break during fluctuations.
When the trend comes, 100 times leverage will take you flying; during sideways fluctuations, this leverage is just a knife to cut your flesh. When there is no direction, control your hands, and it’s better to stay still.
Don’t exceed 10% of your capital in position.
Don’t go all in like a gambler. When your position is light, you can remain calm when facing a black swan. Going all in is like stuffing yourself at a buffet; the last bite will definitely make you uncomfortable.
