Layer-1 Blockchain Activity Update

BNB Chain continues to lead all blockchains in active addresses for the fourth consecutive month — no surprise BNB has held up so well. CZ keeps pushing new initiatives onto the chain, with recent examples like PredictFun and Aster.

Solana’s active address count remains extremely strong, but a large portion of that traffic comes from bots farming meme activity.

Near is showing a sharp increase, likely driven by users interacting with Near Intents and Zcash integrations. Meanwhile, most ecosystem projects haven’t shown any major moves yet.

Tron stays in the top rankings mainly thanks to massive Stablecoin flows from Chinese whales. The chain isn’t even competing aggressively, yet it continues to thrive due to the network effects it built early on.

One interesting highlight: Aptos and Sei appear to be getting less attention in narratives, yet both are posting higher active address numbers than Ethereum. Sei continues to double down on speed and seems to be shifting toward gaming, while Aptos is leaning more into RWA.

Ethereum fees have dropped significantly and the ecosystem is still solid, but most current narratives are happening on other chains — which explains the relatively low active user numbers.

If we include both L1 and L2 networks, Base would likely land in the top 5.
