Standard Chartered Bank revealed that the "Bitcoin" currency will only reach half of the previously expected level in 2026. The cryptocurrency is expected to reach $150,000 in 2026, down from the previous target of $300,000. However, the new target still reflects an increase of more than 65 percent. The bank has also lowered its forecasts for 2029, and the bank's head of global digital asset research, Jeff Kendrick, stated that he expects the level to reach $500,000 in 2030, two years later than the previous forecasts.
