🎯 My view: Which part will most shake up on-chain derivatives (near term) If I had to pick, I think the following are the parts of the MultiVM roadmap that will have the biggest impact on on-chain derivatives (and broader DeFi) in the near future: 1. Native EVM + WASM dual-VM environment — because this enables standard Ethereum-style smart contracts for derivatives with Injective’s sophisticated financial primitives behind them. That dramatically lowers friction for developers. 2. Unified liquidity / token standard (MTS) — because deep liquidity and seamless asset transfer across VMs is essential for derivatives (perpetuals, futures, synthetic assets etc.) to function properly without fragmentation or bridge-related risks. 3. Future VM support (e.g. Solana VM) — this widens the pool of developers and ecosystem integration possibilities; over time that could lead to a very diverse and powerful financial ecosystem on one chain. 4. Plug-and-play financial modules + infrastructure — having built-in order-book, derivatives engine, RWA support, etc., combined with MultiVM flexibility, could attract institutional-grade products (tokenized commodities, real-world assets, derivatives, margin trading). In short: I think the native EVM + MultiVM foundation is already a game-changer, and over the next 6–18 months we could realistically see a wave of new, more advanced derivatives protocols — especially from teams migrating from Ethereum or building hybrid products. #injective @Injective $INJ
