📌 Tempo, a blockchain optimized for stablecoin payments, has officially launched its public testnet, allowing any developer to run a node, test transactions, and integrate applications.

📌 The biggest difference of Tempo: no gas token, all fees are paid directly in USDC/USDT, aiming for a payment experience similar to Web2 but running on Web3 infrastructure.

📌 This testnet comes with the participation of a series of major partners in finance and fintech such as Visa, Mastercard, UBS, Klarna, Kalshi, demonstrating Stripe's ambition to bring stablecoins into the global payment ecosystem.

📌 Tempo has raised ~$500M and is valued at around $5B, becoming one of the strongest-backed payment blockchains in the market before launching the testnet.
