The market expects that at the meeting of the US Federal Reserve on January 28, the agency will keep the interest rate unchanged.

According to #CMEGroup, 80.1% of market players expect the rate to remain at 3.75%. Meanwhile, 19.9% expect another reduction of 0.25 percentage points.

The market had similar expectations before yesterday's decision by the Federal Reserve and the speech by the head of the agency, Powell. Therefore, it reacted calmly at the moment to Powell's thesis hinting at a pause in January.
