At three in the morning, staring at the screen, my hands are shaking, my heart is racing to my throat——
This feeling, I am too damn familiar with it.
A few years ago, my account went from hundreds of thousands to just a few thousand; the despair of falling into an ice pit still sends chills down my spine when I think of it.
Later, I realized that what truly pulls a person out of the abyss is not some magical indicator, but a few "rules of survival" bought with money.
Rule one: Don't go for parking spots you don't understand.
I used to be afraid of missing out, chasing after whatever hot stock was skyrocketing, only to end up buying at a high. Later, I drew my own "ambush zone"—don't move until the right price.
The market always has opportunities; losing your capital is the only real loss of opportunity.
Rule two: Think about how much you are willing to lose before placing an order.
Now with every order, the first thing I do is set a stop loss.
The losses you can bear are a thousand times more important than the profits you dream of.
As long as you have capital, you have opportunities; as long as you're alive, you qualify for a comeback.
Rule three: The money you earn must be divided and put into your pocket in batches.
When the market is trending, I will split my profits into several parts: one part is taken off the table early, and the other part is kept to ride the trend.
This way, I can enjoy the gains without giving back all the profits due to a single pullback.
You can never eat everything; just eating enough is good enough.
Rule four: If there’s no signal, learn to wait.
I used to feel uncomfortable if I didn’t trade for a day; now, as long as it doesn’t meet my rules, no matter how enticing the market is, I act as if I didn’t see it.
Trading isn’t about being diligent; it’s about having patience. Only take the "good shots" that belong to me.
With these rules, I managed to stabilize my account from four figures to five figures and six figures.
The numbers are just the result; more importantly: I can sleep soundly now, no longer led by the market.
I used to stumble in the dark, but now I have a light in my hand.
It may not be bright, but it’s enough to illuminate the path beneath my feet. #美联储降息 #加密市场反弹 #美联储FOMC会议
