The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 105.17 points, marking a 0.22% increase to reach 48,162.92 points. In contrast, the S&P 500 Index opened with a decline of 30.82 points, a 0.45% drop, settling at 6,855.98 points. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite Index also saw a decrease, falling by 178.84 points, or 0.76%, to 23,475.32 points.
