I was reading through a thread online this week where someone asked why crypto people get so upset when anyone criticises $BTC and one reply genuinely made me laugh and think at the same time
someone wrote it is religious, criticism of Bitcoin is interpreted as criticism of who they are personally, and honestly I think that comment is more accurate than most Bitcoin analysis I have read this year
my personal view is that any investment you cannot criticise without feeling personally attacked is not an investment anymore, it is an identity, and that is a dangerous thing to build a portfolio around.
