Will quantum computers threaten Bitcoin security? Blockstream research team presents a new solution.

Just now, Blockstream's researchers officially released a revised paper, proposing a hash-based post-quantum signature technology, identified as the key path to protect the future security of Bitcoin.

The strength of this solution lies in the fact that it does not rely on complex unknown mathematical problems, but is based on the SHA-256 hash function, which has long been trusted by the Bitcoin network. It has undergone rigorous cryptanalysis by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), demonstrating strong robustness.

Most alarmingly, the paper points out that old Pay-To-Public-Key wallets created before 2012, totaling approximately $600 billion in BTC (including Satoshi Nakamoto's massive holdings), will be the first to face the threat of quantum attacks.

This is not only about technological upgrades, but also a trillion-dollar asset defense battle. Choosing to invest in assets that truly have a technological moat has become more important than ever.

Seeking certainty in uncertainty. $BTC , remains the ultimate bastion of this long battle.
