Trust Wallet has announced a new partnership with Revolut, allowing users across the European Economic Area (EEA) to purchase cryptocurrencies and have them delivered directly to their self-custodial Trust Wallet, eliminating the need to use centralized exchanges.

According to the announcement, the integration enables users to fund their wallets using Revolut Pay, debit or credit cards, and bank transfers, with instant settlement in supported regions.

Trust Wallet emphasized the importance of the direct on-chain experience, stating:

“With Revolut now integrated directly into Trust Wallet as a payment provider, users can fund their wallets instantly and securely.”

Direct Fiat-to-Crypto Access Without Centralized Custody

Unlike many fintech-to-crypto integrations, the Trust Wallet–Revolut partnership allows users to retain full control of their assets from the moment of purchase. Funds are sent straight to the user’s self-custodial wallet, meaning private keys are never held by an exchange or intermediary.

The launch initially supports major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL), with plans to expand coverage to additional assets available via Revolut, including major stablecoins like USDC.

Zero Fees and Regional Availability

The integration is available across the EEA, with payment options displayed based on the user’s local fiat currency and region. For European users, purchases made via Revolut Pay currently offer 0% platform fees, though standard blockchain network fees still apply.

Revolut has set transaction limits, with a minimum purchase of €10, a maximum of €23,000 per transaction, and a daily cap of €23,000 per customer.

A Regulatory-Friendly Path to Crypto Adoption

The partnership comes at a time of tightening crypto regulations across the European Union, where compliance, transparency, and consumer protection are increasingly prioritized.

By enabling direct fiat-to-self-custody crypto purchases, the integration reduces friction for users who previously had to navigate multiple apps, fees, and delays. It also aligns with regulatory trends favoring clear custody separation and user ownership of assets.

Two Established Platforms, One Simplified On-Ramp

The collaboration brings together Trust Wallet, which reports over 200 million users globally, and Revolut, one of Europe’s largest financial apps with more than 65 million customers worldwide processing over a billion transactions per month.

With millions of Revolut users now able to access crypto directly into a self-custodial wallet, the partnership is expected to significantly lower barriers to crypto adoption across Europe.
