Losing so much that you want to delete the app? Don't rush, first learn to "lose comfortably" before talking about making money.

Last year on the night of the ARB airdrop, I impulsively opened a short position with 50U at 20x leverage, and as a result, one line from Musk saying "AI changes the world" wiped me from 2000U down to 230U, almost making me uninstall the exchange right there.

Later I realized: It's not the loss that scares me, but losing beyond my budget. When panic sets in, my mind just goes blank, and I hit the F key to liquidate.

I wrote "lose comfortably" on a sticky note and stuck it on the edge of my screen, filling in four lines before entering a trade:

1. Why buy — Daily OBV golden cross + volume > 20 average;

2. Stop-loss level — Previous low - 2%, cut if it breaks, no nonsense;

3. Target area — Profit-loss ratio ≥ 1:2, don’t be greedy;

4. Worst-case scenario — Position ≤ total funds 5%, if liquidated just treat it like a taxi ride.

When the market truly moves, don’t go all in either. In May, when SOL surged to 22U, I entered at 1.8, sold 50% at 2.05, then another 30% at 2.3, leaving 20% to ride the wave.

As a result, it pulled back to 2.02, profits were still there, and my base position was intact, so I could sleep well.

Real-time data: BTC is currently at 94300, 24h volume shrank by 15%; ETH 2560, funding rate -0.009%, shorts are starting to pay interest.

Tonight, the U.S. will announce the core PCE, and volatility will definitely be large. I've set my BTC stop-loss at 92000, target at 96000, with a 3x position. Even if it blows up, I only stand to lose 5%, and if my mind is steady, my hands won't shake.

Remember: Losses are business costs. Lock the losses in a drawer, and profits can grow safely.

Those who can survive in the market and still make money have always been the ones who dare to reach out first.
