Introduction: The "Crypto-Dust" Problem
Many newcomers (myself included) start with small investments and buy many "cheap" coins: LUNA, HOME, USTC, MAGIC, and remnants of stablecoins ($1 USDT). As a result, the portfolio is "cluttered" with assets that cannot be sold and that do not grow.
My balance was $30, but almost half of that money was "dead weight".
Step 1: Cleaning up "Trash" (Converting Dust)
What I did: I used Binance's "Convert low-value assets to BNB" function.
What I exchanged: LUNA, LUNC, HOME, WBETH, USDT, USTC, LINEA, and MAGIC.
Exception: Some small coins (like $0.0000001 USDC) and the HOME token in fixed staking ($1.14) could not be touched. I simply hid them.
Result: I collected 0.00957 BNB (about $8), which were previously worthless pennies.

Step 2: Creating the Right Foundation
After the "cleaning," my portfolio became clean and efficient:

Step 3: Lesson on "Guru" and "Revival" (LUNA Case)
I have seen posts where influencers promise the "revival" of such coins as LUNA, talking about "deep cycles." But the numbers tell a different story:
Speculation: The trading volume of LUNA (trades in 24 hours) is almost 1.8 times greater than its entire market capitalization. This is a sign of unhealthy "pumping."
Capital Outflow: Over the last 5 days, $20 million has been withdrawn from LUNA. Money is going out, not coming in.
Conclusion: Do not trust emotional posts. Check Volume and Market Cap on CoinGecko or Binance.
Checklist: What to buy?
For a newcomer with a small capital, buy only what passes this test:
Rank: Should be in Top-20 (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB). Ignore everything below.
Goal: The coin should solve a real problem (be a platform, store of capital, etc.).
Ratio: Trading volume should be much less than Market Cap (no more than 10-15%).
Discipline is key. I removed LUNA and will not buy Gravity (G) at 52% because the best thing I can do is simply wait for Bitcoin to grow.
Please share your experience of "cleaning" the portfolio.
